Thoughts and reflections on the role of theaters and festivals in the construction of a city identity and the urban landscape, their growth, cultural promotion policies. Debate with international guests from Parigi, Lille, Lione, Tel Aviv, Montreal, Novi Sad, Tblisi, Wiesbaden, Skopje.
The conference will be coordinated by the theater critic Andrea Porcheddu. Two sessions with two specific sub-themes are scheduled
First session (h9- 11): Tomorrow in the city: how to change (and improve) the urban context. Which role for the theater? Metropolitan area networks or beautiful strongholds? Break with WHAT A TARANTULA EATS - a performance by Koreja (h11- 11:20 ) Second session (h 11.20-13) The public and us: the spectator as a customer or as an interlocutor? What practices to involve the target community?
From the narration of significant experiences of their professional journey , several guests are invited to reflect in perspective by identifying and indicating possible future projects, in view of comparisons , exchanges and networking. Guests can choose which of the two themes to join, providing an intervention to a maximum of 15 minutes each. It is expected to open a later discussion with the aim of creating a document to be proposed as a platform for the future.
