Rite, ritual, SONG OF SOULS intends to celebrate the life, the relationship with yourself and with others. It's a meeting between immigrants and native Italians; it is the descent into emotions that lets us encounter who is socially fragile but strong in mind and culture, or vice versa. The spacecraft that leads us in this ritual is done by songs and stories: Senegalese songs, Kenyans, Albanians, Kurds, Italians, Russians, Arabs arranged for a choir of about forty people. The stories are parables taken from life, from the Bible, Koran that suggest the ancient way, so the new one, to read in the heart.
