The play was born twenty years ago during the theatrical season 1987-1988 as a collection of rigmaroles, proverbs, little stories, characters, small and big pieces of the popular reality of Bari but not only, as time passed by it enriched with texts, reflections, riddles, jokes, songs and rhymes and above all with the lively contribution of the audience that seasoned it.
A ragù mixed with comicality, good humour, and the genuineness of the old oral tradition of Bari but also with texts of the highest dialectal culture as some passages from the Divine Comedy transposed in Bari dialect by the poet Gaetano Savelli or from a touching King Lear "transported" to Bari from the genius of Vito Carofiglio.

After the performance, the audience will be served with a gastronomic specialty
