Four actors playing four giant puppets tell the comic and tragic story of Charlemagne, since the arrival at the court of the beautiful Angelica to the mass murder of Roncisvalle. Stories of war, love and death that condense the beauty and the cruelty of the life. The scenes get inspiration from the Sicilian puppets tradition and the sky as frame, looks to Pasolini and to his "What are the clouds" to which the performance is dedicated.
