The idea of this volume of Crossroads has matured between Anastasija Gjurcinova and Livio Muci, during a series of cultural events between the two Adriatic sides mainly in Puglia and in Macedonia. This special number of the review provides a complete essay of the new Macedonian literature of the last twenty years, by choosing the most interesting pages of the fiction and the contemporary poetry. Different generations, tendencies and poetics included in the multicoloured mosaic of the literature that is developing nowadays in the Macedonian background.
